Recycling your Christmas TRee
Discover how to recycle your Christmas Tree in aid of Princess Alice Hospice
Recycling your Christmas Tree
Your Christmas tree has one last gift to give.
As you start planning for the festive season, have you thought about what to do with your
real Christmas tree once the festivities are over? Instead of wrestling needles into your car or letting your tree go to landfill, let the Princess Alice Hospice volunteer elves collect it straight from your property* and take it to be recycled.
Every tree collected and recycled is turned into compassionate, expert end-of-life care
and bereavement support for local families, wherever and whenever they need it.
How it works:
1. Book your collection by visiting pah.org.uk/tree and donate to the Hospice.
2. Strip the decoration and pop your real Christmas tree outside your property
by 7am on 8 January 2027
3. The Princess Alice Hospice volunteer elves will come on either 8, 9, 10 or 11
January 2027 to collect your tree and take it to be recycled.
In January 2026 Princess Alice Hospice collected more than 1,300 Christmas trees and
raised over £28,265 to support our local community. Let’s help them raise even more in
2027!
